<body> <h1>national republican women's network</h1> <h1>The National Republican Women’s Network- a True No-Barriers Republican Women’s Organization</h1> <h1>The National Republican Women’s Network (NRWN) is committed to reaching across all socio-economic lines to expand our Republican base to reflect the diversity of our country. We will not only provide information on the important issues facing women and families, but will raise the level of debate on those issues to include the voice of Republican women. The Executive Committee and Board of Governors of the NRWN recognize and acknowledge that the challenges faced by today’s women are complex and varied, and that no one answer or solution will work for everyone. Women, as they travel through the seasons of their lives, face challenges unheard of in past generations. Statistical information presents a picture of a changing societal structure that will place more stress on an already stressful population of women. For the first time in our history, single women outnumber married women 51% vs. 49 %, while the number of family households headed by single women rose to 12.2%. At the same time, women will be the deciding group in the 2008 Presidential election, as 54% of the votes cast are expected to be cast by women. The NRWN is kicking off The 54% Vote Project -- utilizing our resources to reach women through the issues and “conversations” via the internet and community seminars. We, here at the NRWN, believe that the Republican platform of smaller government, lower taxes, and personal responsibility offer the best opportunities for the quality of life that all American families deserve to enjoy. We also understand the importance of an open dialogue based on concern and respect, with a willingness to listen to diverging opinions. We are committed to providing answers to specific questions. We will provide both sides of an issue so that you can decide for yourself if the benefits of the solution are equal to, or greater than, the cost. It is our hope that, as we move toward election-day 2008, our 54% Vote Project will reach women where they live, work, play, and pray - providing a platform for women to discuss with other women across the country those issues that will determine how they will cast their vote. Ultimately, we hope to ensure that a well informed, politically engaged woman voter will cast her ballot for the Republican Presidential candidate. Along with The 54% Vote Project, the NRWN will be providing campaign training, issue advocacy and support for qualified, viable Republican women candidates.
